Coming soon - HomeHero

I've been working on another bigger project. It's called HomeHero and it's coming soon.

Releasing a new project is always a bit scary. On one hand, I know that the sooner I release it, the sooner I can get feedback and improve it. However, I also know that the first impression is important and I want to make sure that it's a good one. There are still some things to polish and test but I'm excited of what comes. I've been using it for own purposes for a while now and it's been a great help.

What is it? It's a management app for home. I use it to keep track of my stuff (inventory) through appropriate allocations and tags, allowing to easily search for items. Also, I can assign recurring tasks and files (photos, documents) in context of some items.

I understand that this app might not be for everyone. As a "recent" homeowner, it's been very useful when some appliances broke and at the home improvement store I had to recall what the model number, or dimensions. Or, searching for Christmas decoration; is it in the attic or in the shed? Small things, but they add up.

The reason for the delay is that it's my multi-platform (web, mobile, desktop) project and there's plenty to learn. Initial tests with "real" users are promising, but it turns out that they aren't me, and some things are less than intuitive. Very valuable feedback!

Since you've read thus far, maybe you'd be interested in becoming a beta tester? I'd be happy to provide you with an early access. Let me know in the comments or reach out to me through other means (see contact information). Always looking for some feedback.
